The Socratic Method
Some of my first interests in life were ancient Greece and philosophy, which I went on to study at the University of Manchester. Having discovered my passion for recruitment as a graduate, I realised how important the Socratic Method was in the recruitment process. Just as Socrates guided his contemporaries through insightful questioning, we apply this principle throughout the recruitment journey to go beyond the surface, delving deeper into the unique requirements of each employer and candidate, empowering people to achieve their goals.
About Max Rey, our Director
Highly motivated and energetic, with an enthusiasm for securing people jobs, I discovered my passion for recruitment when I gained my first recruitment consultant position after university.
Being surrounded by the wealth of academia and education in my hometown of Oxford, as well as having a passion for learning myself, I instinctively knew what niche I wanted to pursue: the Education Sector. Having gained many years experience within the sector I decided to tie together my interests of recruitment and Socratic philosophy, bringing Socrates Recruitment to life.
Outside of recruitment I am a passionate traveller, both within the UK and internationally (I particularly have a fondness for Rome and Istanbul). I am also an avid reader of history and politics.
